Al (Father) "As a concerned parent, my daughter Alissa had a bad habit of biting her nails starting around 5 years old which resulted in her teeth being crooked. I tried to get her to stop but she would continue to bite her nails when I was not around. Her teeth continued to get worse and even family members were saying she needs braces. When Alissa turned 9 years old, I told her she will need metal braces to straighten her teeth (like her cousin) but she didn’t want them.
